Technically the first post, this isn’t the oldest work that will appear here. But in honor of this first post, let me write a poem for posterity…
Poem in honor of a new blog
"Hello world!" the software maker wrote, "A starter post for your new blog." And so it was for all the blokes, The words that kicked the blogging off. But will this post fade to memory, Or be the proof of a life lived lazily, Such that the blog so well begun, Last no longer than the whooping cough.
