Today is a New Day!

The previous days have been good, even great, and definitely essential in bringing me to today. But TODAY is THE DAY when I “put out into the deep” and launch my own business, Simbiotrek (sim-bē-‘ä-‘trek)!

I leave behind great professional opportunities at Globant. I give up the opportunity to work on a daily basis with cheerful, thoughtful, creative, and caring people from all over the world. I will miss the work at Globant and the people I worked with. Fortunately, while I will no longer work day-to-day with my great colleagues at Globant, the relationships and friendships I developed with them are not part of what I’ve given up by leaving. My time at Globant, especially working with our great clients like Rockwell Automation, has been absolutely critical for my preparation for today.

With Simbiotrek I begin what I’ve dreamed of for at least 16 years. With Simbiotrek I take a bold step to find out what it means to “listen to that still, small voice.” With Simbiotrek I will strive to make the world better through the entrepreneurial method.

I am deeply grateful to Globant (and PointSource and IBM) and the great people I worked with there for helping me prepare for this, to Simbotrek’s first client for making this possible (and super exciting through the good we’re striving to accomplish together), and to my family for being my partners on this expedition.

I have an ambitious and meaningful vision for Simbiotrek, and I know I will need to draw on my network of friends and former colleagues, and beyond, to realize even the 10th part of it. Today I’ll appreciate your encouragement and well-wishes. Tomorrow I want to talk to you about your business and your aspirations for it, and share about mine too. In the future, I hope we’ll get to work together again, one way or another, and build beautiful businesses together.

You can always find me on LinkedIn, and you can also use and share the Simbiotrek contact page.
