I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100 certain. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks|

Hi Dicks,

I’ve build this site using WordPress hosted by Hostiso. I think that their hosting is affordable, and that their system performance and support is fantastic. You do need to learn a bit of WordPress, but their are plenty of good tutorials and discussion forums to help you out too. You can “get your feet wet” with a free WordPress blog through WordPress.com, which you can then export and take anywhere you like.

An alternative that I’ve started using for beaction.net and intend to move the Simbiotrek (sim-bē-‘ä-‘trek) website to, is Groove.cm. Among other things, I really appreciate the built-in features for building an email list, broadcasting to that list, and creating automations to better engage people interested in your content. You can start for free with Groove.cm too.
